In recent times, Nigerians no longer hide their gay status, few of them can be seen flaunting either their fellow male or female partner on social media.
Just like controversial gay activist Bisi Alimi got married to his partner, another beautiful Nigerian lady has come out to propose to her female lover in public.
Gay Nigerian TV producer and director Nneka who recently proposed to her lover is currently under fire from followers on Twitter as they keep referring to her as a man.

Nneka in return initially turned deaf ears to what people are saying about her but has now come out to stand strong for what she believes in and warns everyone to stop calling her ‘bro’.
In the Nigerian context, bro is a word used in place of brother, and in her case, they are try to refer to her as a guy.
She took to her Twitter handle saying: “Don't call me "Bro" I'm a lady. A very aristocratic and masculine lady at times. But I'm honored to be a woman. Refrain from the "bro" plz."
