Arsenal got a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Red Star Belgrade, on Thursday night, October 19
A stunning team move involving Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott ended with Olivier Giroud brilliantly hooking an overhead kick into the top corner.

The goal sparked delirious scenes in the Serbian capital as it was a moment to savour for Gunners, who are now five points clear at the top of Group H, following three wins from three matches.

Not many people had seen it coming during what had been a fairly dire game. Except, that is, for Giroud himself.
As revealed by his manager Arsene Wenger at full-time, the French striker had predicted his goal.
"Well at some stage he came to the touchline and told me he would score.
"I don't know [how he knew but] that's certainly no more than I did, but I think that's Olivier Giroud, he keeps belief when it's tough and that's why maybe he scores as well at moments you don't necessarily expect him to score," the Gunners boss said in his post-match press conference.

Olivier Giroud has a collection of impressive goals in his career the French forward's goal against Crystal Palace in January has been nominatated in this year's Pukas award.
The former Lens man recently hit a century of goals for Arsenal and will do all he can to regain his role as Gunner's main man.
