Arsenal's chances of finishing among the top four teams at the end of the ongoing Premier League season on Sunday, March 4, suffered a big blow when they were beaten 2-1 by Brighton &Hove Albion.
The Gunners went into this match after suffering two defeats at the hands of Manchester City, but their trouble were added to at the American Express Community Stadium by Brighton.
Brighton started the match aggressive knowing fully well that Arsenal would want to redeem themselves with this match.

Lewis Dunk netted the first goal for the hosts in the 7th minute after being wonderfully set up by Shane Duffy.
Brighton got their second goal in the 26th minute through Glenn Murray who was superbly assisted by Pascal Gross.

Gabonese striker Pierre Aubameyang pulled one back for the Gunners in the 43rd minute as both teams went into the first half break with Brighton leading.
Arsenal tried all they could to avoid defeat in the second half, but Brighton held on for an incredible win over the Gunners as the match ended 2-1 in favor of the hosts.
