- Paul Pogba believes Victor Lindelof's best is yet to come as the Swedish defender is not having a good season
- The French midfielder stressed Lindelof will adapt to the physicality of the Premier League with time
- Lindelof is Manchester United's most expensive defender when he signed from Benfica in the summer
Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has backed teammate Victor Lindelof to adapt to life after initially struggling to get to grips with the pace and physicality in the Premier League.
Lindelof arrived in the summer from Benfica with a £30.75m price tag attached with the hopes of living up to the billing.
The Swede became United’s most expensive defender in the process, overtaking the £29.1m paid out for Rio Ferdinand in 2002 when he moved from Leeds United.

However, the Swedish star, has been backed by team-mate Paul Pogba to live up to expectations and finish the season strongly.
"His season has been very good," Pogba told Expressen.
"He shows the quality on the pitch, he has shown to the world and for all supporters what he can do.
"He is a very good player and we need him. He is a nice person off the pitch too, you must not forget that it is his first season.
"It's never easy for the first year in England. He is a player who adapts very well. He is a quality player. He has been doing well.
"He has won big titles and played with big players already in Benfica, so he is not new to the football world."

Lindelof has so far made 24 appearances for the club in all competitions and he is beginning to hit the form that is expected.
