Everton are reportedly plotting a shocking move for Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, should the Frenchman lose his job at the Emirates stadium this summer.
The Gunners were beaten 2-1 by Brighton & Hove Albion in a Premier League encounter on Sunday, March 4, to make it three straight defeats for the north Londoners following their back to back losses to Manchester City in the space of five days last week.
Nonetheless, the Toffees are unfazed by Wenger’s recent results, as they are hoping he can succeed Sam Allardyce at the Goodsison Park at the end of the 2017/18 league season according to reports from Daily Star.
Everton are presently 11th on the EPL table with 9 matches to wrap up the season, and the Merseyside outfit are keen on offering the Frenchman a sensational deal.

Meanwhile, Arsenal fans have demanded that the 68-year-old be relieved of his duty, having lost six out of their last eight matches in all competitions.
Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Brighton at the American Express Community Stadium made it their fourth straight defeats in a row - the first time they would lose that number of games in the last 16 years.
Everton owner, Farad Moshiri, has revealed that he would give anything to keep the Frenchman in the Premier League if his reign at the Emirates Stadium expires this summer.
Despite his side’s poor performances this year, Wenger has insisted that he will remain at the club to help them regain their top four position.
The Gunners will hope they can bounce back from their winless run when they battle AC Milan in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 fixture at the San Siro on Thursday, March 8, as they hope to win the UEFA second tier championship to return to Champions League football next season.
Wenger has just three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups to his credit in his 22-year-reign at the club since he joined them in 1996.

In his reaction to his side's defeat at Brighton, the former Monaco gaffer admits returning to the top four would be a difficult task to achieve, but insisted that they have a shot at winning the Europa League title.
"It is very difficult, nearly impossible now – we are too far behind.
"We have to be realistic. We need two teams to collapse and I don’t see that happening. We have to give our best for as long as we can and the Europa League becomes important."
He continued: "I can understand the frustration [of the supporters].
"What can I say? The League Cup in the middle of the season makes it difficult if you don’t win it. It brings a lot of negative waves.
"On top of that, the rearranged game on Thursday night [against City] didn’t help us to compete today.
"The negativity after losing the final, plus the fact we’re not in a fantastic position in the league, hits us hard.
"Am I still the right man? Yes, because I’ve done it before. I believe a quality of a manager is to try to shorten a crisis. I believe I can do that."
