Liverpool in form strikers Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane scored the goals that moved the Reds back to second spot after defeating Newcastle 2-0.
It was a vintage performance by Jurgen Klopp's men as both Africans got on the score sheet in each half of the match played at Anfield.
Liverpool dominated the match from start to finish as Salah raced on to Alex Oxlade Chamberlain's pass to to put his side ahead in the 40th minute.
