NAIJ.com gathered that the Muna-garage area as well as Molai along Damboa road had been entry points through which Boko Haram terrorists sneaked in to wreck havoc on civilian populace hence the need for the security agencies to comb the areas to ascertain the identity of persons residing in the areas.
It could be also recalled that the Borno state commissioner of police, Damian Chukwu, in one of his briefing blamed attacks in the areas on proliferation of unrecognized Internally Displaced Persons ( IDPs) camps which are sometimes erected by IDPs from liberated communities who chooses to remain than return back home, thus creating illegal markets that at times offer the terrorists good opportunities for their nefarious acts.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, on Monday said the command would provide adequate security to schools in the northeat state.
He said this would be in partnership with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), adding that the operations would cover public schools in three states of the northeast.
