Spanish champions Real Madrid have qualified for the quarter final of this season's UEFA Champions League after beating PSG 2-1 on Tuesday night, March 6.
Real Madrid who are the current Champions League holders had defeated Paris-Saint-Germain 3-1 in the first leg at the Bernabeu and therefore qualified for the last 8 on 5-2 aggregate.
Paris-saint-Germain missed the service of their superstar Neymar who got injured last week, and the Brazilian will now have to wait for another year to have any hope of lifting the Champions League with the French club.
The hosts started the match impressive as Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria combined superbly well to give Real Madrid defenders some trouble.
But they finished the match with 10 men when Marco Verratti was sent off in the 68th minute after a bad challenge on Lucas Vazquez.

The first half ended goalless with both teams finding it difficult to find the back of the net.
Real Madrid scored their goal in the 52nd minute through Cristiano Ronaldo who netted via an header after being set up by Lucas Vazquez.
Paris-Saint-Germain fought back in the 71st minute as Edinson Cavani equalized for them to the delight of their fans.
But Casemiro scored the second and wining goal for Real Madrid in the 80th minute as Los Blancos qualified for the quarter final of the Champions League.
