Egyptian lawyer Bassem Wahba has reportedly filed a €1 billion law suit against Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos for his challenge on Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah in the final of the 2017/18 Champions League.
The legal practitioner is livid with the way Sergio tackled the Egypt international which ended his night in Kiev and also put Salah in serious doubt for the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Explaining his action, the attorney-at-law according to UK Sun report told Sada El-Balad channel, that he took the move so that the Real Madrid star would not go unpunished for the crime.

"Ramos intentionally injured Mo Salah and should be punished about his actions.
"I've filed a lawsuit and a complaint to FIFA.
"I'll ask for compensation, which could exceed €1billion, for the physical and psychological harm that Ramos gave Salah and the Egyptian people."
Interestingly, Egypt will battle the trio of Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and hosts Russia in Group A, and the North African are desperate for Salah to regain full fitness after hitting 44 goals in his debut season at Liverpool.

Already, over 400,000 Liverpool fans have jointly penned a petition to Uefa and Fifa to punish Ramos for the injury on Salah.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that the Real Madrid captain has sent a ‘quick recovery message to Salah.
