- Chelsea are reportedly interested in the signing of AC Milan goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma
- The Blues want him as a replacement for Thibaut Courtois who could leave at the end of the season
Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in case Thibaut Courtois leaves at the end of the season.
Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has refused to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge as he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old has for the last two years emerged as a target for Real Madrid, and the club want to sign him at the end of the season in Europe.
According to the report by Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea have identified 19-year-old Donnarumma as a perfect replacement for Courtois.
But the Blues will have to face serious competition from French club Paris-Saint-Germain who are also said to be interested in Donnarumma.
Courtois's current Chelsea contract runs out in 2019 and the Blues could cash in during the summer when he will have just 12 months left.
