Former Senate president David Mark has reportedly ended the disagreements in the Ekiti state chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
The Punch reports that this was confirmed in a statement which was issued by Paul Mumeh, the media assistant to Senator Mark in Abuja on Saturday, March 3.
According to the report, the senator representing Benue South district led a reconciliation committee to Ekiti with members that included Senator Enyinaya Abaribe , Ambassador Ibrahim Kazaure, Alhaji Yusuf Ayitogo, Ambassador Fidelia Njeze and Dr. Eddy Olafeso.

The secretary of the reconciliation committee Olafeso said the state governor Ayo Fayose and all the aspirants attended the meeting at which all the parties agreed to the conduct of a credible primary election to pick a candidate for the governorship polls in July.
Olafeso revealed further that Governor Fayose has agreed to work with any of the contestants that emerge at the primary, even if not his preferred candidate.
NAIJ.com reported earlier that the PDP invited former Senate president Mark to wade into the rift between members of the Ekiti state chapter of the party.
The party set up the reconciliation committee led by Mark and assisted by the deputy vice chairman of the party in the southwest, Eddy Olafeso.

The national publicity secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, announced the development in an interview in Abuja on Monday, February 19.
