Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness and this is what Derick John Pablo
Over the past few years, Nigeria has been described as a country rapidly deteriorating due to negligence by corrupt leaders. This particular reason has contributed to the growth of crime rate in recent times.
It has become common news the way people are robbed of properties and sometimes, their lives. Basically, Nigeria is now considered a jungle where every man watches out for himself by any means necessary not caring if his actions affect the next person negatively.
Like almost every other Nigerian, Derick John Pablo had grown used to this belief about Nigeria until a certain Keke driver identified as Ibrahim made him have a rethink. According to the post he shared on his Instagram page, his phone had fallen off his pocket in the tricycle which he boarded and he only got to realize this after he had gotten off.

However, Ibrahim proved himself a man with an honest heart when he returned the phone back to the already worried John who at some point, had given up on ever getting his phone back.

What was even more astonishing is the length Ibrahim went to ensure that he returned the phone to the owner. Derick also revealed that the experience has now given him hope for the country and the people in it.
Still on the issue of good Nigerians, an Abuja-based Kanuri man reportedly returned the sum of N30k to the bank. In a letter which he wrote to the branch manager, he claimed that the ATM erroneously dispensed it to him. According to him, honesty is the best policy.
