Manchester City executive Ferran Soriano says signing Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi would be a dream come true for Manchester City.

Meanwhile, the Citizens, who are arguable one of the best teams in the world at the moment, with Pep Guardiola putting up a formidable team, are also on the track of contending the Champions League title.

However, Soriano feels adding Messi to their current squad will be like putting icing on the cake, but the Argentine international seem comfortable at the club where he has spent his entire senior career.
He also insisted that no player is comparable to the Argentine captain, who has won four Champions League titles and five Ballon d’Or awards playing for the Spanish team.
Soriano told infobae: “We would all like to sign Messi, but he is where he wants to be and signing him is not possible.

“To have Messi would be like when Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls. He's the best in the world. If you asked Guardiola if he is to Manchester City what Messi is to Barcelona he would say, 'No'.
“His intent is that the team has its own identity, but if you asked people who you associate with Manchester City I think the answer would be Guardiola.
“It's not comparable to Messi because he is the best in the world. We have some extraordinary players – but none like Messi."
Manchester City are 13 points clear of their city rivals Manchester United on the EPL table with 78 points pending their Monday night football against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.
