The zonal vice chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) southeast, Chief Austine Umahi Nweze on Monday, March 12, said the opposition party is taking over Presidential Villa from the APC in 2019.
Daily Independent reports that Chief Umahi said the PDP has put every machinery in motion to take over the country from the APC in line with the desire of the majority of the suffering Nigeria people.
He made this known in a statement at the government College Afikpo in Afikpo north local government area of the state during a solidarity rally held in support of Governor David Umahi’s reelection by the people of Afikpo north local government srea.

He lauded the people of Afikpo north for supporting the PDP led administration of governor David Umahi and for adopting him as their sole candidate come 2019.

He, however, commended the governor for the massive and comprehensive developments going on in all sectors of the state describing it as a pointer to the fact that the administration is indeed anchored on divine mandate.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that reported that Prince Uche Secondus, the national chairman of the PDP said the ruling APC has failed.
He said only the PDP can rescue Nigeria from total collapse. Secondus, while mocking the ruling party, urged the APC to list its achievement since the party took over power in 2015.
