An unidentified woman has reportedly been rescued after she was attacked by a mob in Wuse market, Abuja for wearing a short dress.
NAIJ.com gathered that the woman was attacked at the front gate of Wuse market.
According to Twitter user, @ManiPeters, young men were seen pulling her from all sides as she tried to escape from them.
ManiPeters stated that as he watched the seen in horror the helpless woman was rescued by the driver of a Toyota Corolla who stopped for the lady to hop into the car.

The Twitter users expressed that the mob tried to open the car and drag the woman out before some courageous men stopped them and the driver was able to drive off.

However, others expressed concerned, saying that no one deserves jungle justice no matter what they did.

It was not confirmed if the woman was attacked because of what she wore or if Muslims perpetrated the crime.
