Reports reaching NAIJ.com indicates that moves to sack Senator Andy Uba from the Senate and stop his Anambra governorship aspiration has failed.
This is due to the ruling of an Abuja High Court sitting in Apo which cleared Senator Uba of the allegations of certificate forgery against him.
The court also went ahead to affirm the originality of senator's WAEC certificate and eligibility to hold any public office in Nigeria.
The end of the court case will most likely energize the Andy Uba campaign organisation which has been meeting with several groups across Anambra state

The court presided over by Justice Valentine Ashi, by its ruing, has put paid to rest, an issue that has been ongoing for almost a year.
In the ruling that lasted over two hours,the judge held that the plaintiff failed to discharge the burden of proof bestowed on him and so his suit stands dismissed.
The court held that the same certificate have been used by the defendant since 2007 till date without any alteration and wonders the foundation upon which the suit is based since the defendant election forms submitted in INEC in over three elections he participated is same without any alteration.
The court established that the defendant, Senator Andy Uba is eligible to hold any elective position as he has met the minimum educational requirement provided by the constitution of Nigeria.
Some groups had held protests against the senator in the past over the issue

Senator Uba has since kick-started his sensitization tour to various local government areas in Anambra state.
The APC gubernatorial candidate is one of the leading aspirants aspiring to unseat incumbent, Chief Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
