Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has admitted that Alvaro Morata's representatives are in talks with Manchester United.
The club president however denies that the Spaniard is close to sealing a move to Old Trafford as reported in the papers this week.
Jose Mourinho has identifed Morata, 24, as the man to lead his attack next season following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“I believe we are not negotiating with Manchester United, which does not mean that there are not people around him who are talking, which is normal,” Perez Spanish radio show El Primer Palo.
“I have read that we have reached an agreement for I don’t know how many million euros, but it is not true.”
Florentino Perez has not received any bid for Morata
Reports in Spanish publication Diario Gol said Morata is eager to work with Mourinho again, after the Portuguese coach gave him his debut for Madrid back in 2010.
It was also been reported that Real Madrid value Morata at £70m but United want the club to lower their asking price.

However Perez, 70, says there have been no formal negotiations between Manchester United and Real Madrid, which would make the proposed 48-hour timeframe unlikely.
Morata started just 14 games last season but was their second-top scorer with 15 goals behind Cristiano Ronaldo, on 25.
