Germany on Monday, June 19, 2017 began their campaign at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup on a winning note after beating Australia 3-2 at the Fisht Olympic Stadium.
The Germans who are the holders of the FIFA World Cup started the match impressive and took them only five minutes before scoring the first goal through Lars Stindi.
Australia responded before the break when Tom Rogic scored a wonderful goal in the 41st minute, but PSG star Julian Draxler restored the lead for Germany in the 45th minute.

Leon Goretzka scored the third and winning goal for the Germans in the 48th minute. Tomi Jurie netted the second goal for Australia in the 58th minute, but they could not get the third goal as Germany won the match 3-2.
