NAIJ.com came across the inspirational story of a young lady who decided to repay her father's hard work and make him proud by bagging a master's degree.
A young lady named Gabby, took to Twitter to share her success story and how her passion to repay her father's dedication, drove her to succeed.
According to her, her Latina father (apparently an immigrant), chose to take English classes just so that he would be able to assist her in doing her homework, also encouraging her to get an education as that would help her succeed in life.
Sharing a note her father wrote in class severals years ago alongside a picture of both of them during her recent graduation, Gabby wrote:
"My dad took night classes to learn English and wrote this as an assignment. 17 years later, I got my Masters. I did it, pa. Thank you."
