Nigeria's latest sporting prodigy has been identified.
She is 12-year-old tennis star Marylove Edward who despite her young age has been ranked the fourth best tennis player in Nigeria by the Nigeria Tennis Federation.
She recently outclassed her seniors to win the just concluded CBN Senior Championship in Lagos.

Despite being ranked a wild card, she shocked everyone by beating three older players to finish second.
Marylove Edwards has been tipped for big things
The youngster has named sisters Serena and venus Williams as her role models.
She also says he's ready to work very hard to actualise her life dream – to become the first Nigerian female Tennis player to win the Grand Slam.

Marylove has won several titles including the Central Bank of Nigeria Open- U12 Category, the Lagos State All Secondary School event, NNPC Junior Open (U14), Ikoyi Club Junior Open and SNEPCO Junior Open.
She participated and won the Midwestern Oil and Gas Junior Open and Gauteng North Belgrave Sportsmans Warehouse Tournament South Africa.
