It's official! Nigeria actually has a functional Kung-Fu federation, and a president.
Kung-Fu is a form of martial art that originated from China, which involves unarmed combat between one or more people.
Seems like some Nigerians have also adopted the art, as they went ahead to even form an organisation which they call the Nigeria Kung-fu Federation (NKF).
The federation even has a 'face' as they recently concluded their board elections, where they elected Adewumi Adekunle as president and Tosin Aluko as his vice.
Looks like Kung-Fu has come to stay in Nigeria

After assuming the role of president recently, Adekunle who vowed to make the art popular among Nigerians, said:
“We have people who are willing to sponsor us, and we will need their support to create awareness of the game. We will make sure we participate in all the international championships so that we can receive support from the World Kung-fu Federation (WKF).”
