Chelsea are looking to beat Liverpool to the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, The Sun quoting Daily Mirror.
The United States midfielder is one of the hottest properties in Europe following his impressive breakthrough in Germany and on the international stage.
Jurgen Klopp has been linked with the 19-year-old and knows him well in the academy from his time in charge of Dortmund.

However, Daily Mirror claim Chelsea are now in talks with the Bundesliga club over a potential deal for Pulisic.
The Blues are desperately looking to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming season having signed Jorginho from Napoli and veteran goalkeeper Robert Green on a free so far.
And Daily Mirror say Chelsea chiefs have now made their move and contacted Dortmund over the ace’s availability.
The German giants want around £65m for the youngster and may decide to sell him this summer in order to get full value for him.

The 21-capped American international will be out of contract in 2020 and has held talks with Dortmund over a new deal but no agreement has been reached.
