A Pathfinder jeep has knocked down a 4-year-old boy simply identified as, Joshua, who was on his way to a Children’s Day party in Bayelsa state.
NAIJ.com gathered that the boy had the accident when he was heading to the party organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God with his 7-year-old elder brother.
According to the Speaker of the Bayelsa state House of Assembly Media team, Isedirikonghen Ebi, who shared the story on social media the boy survived the tragic incident.

Ebi revealed that the tragic incident occurred on Julius Berger axis of the Sani Abacha Expressway.

He explained that before he got to the scene of the accident the driver had already rushed the little boy to the hospital.

On getting to the hospital, Ebi was given the bad news that the boy’s left leg had been damaged in the accident.
However, the hospital management immediately contacted an expert orthopedic surgeon, Dr Amefula, who operated on the little boy.

According to Ebi, the 4-year-old survived the 3hour surgery and he is currently in a stable condition.
