Chege said the babies are staying in deplorable conditions at the hospital's nursery and called on kind-hearted Kenyans to assist in making their lives better.
''These four babies were abandoned. One of them was found at Kiembeni on a river (stream) edge. One other was left by her mother immediately after she gave birth to her. In fact, she (mother) begged the nurses to take the baby from her. They are at the nursery at coast provincial general hospital. I found them there as I went for other business and my aunty who works there decided to pigisha me roundi. Anyway, they are in dire need of pampers and baby clothes...(the very tiny ones and flannels) Kindly pass by and drop some there,
We are going back there on Monday to deliver some, so if you would like to join in unakaribishwa...if you are too busy, you can send me a packet of diapers I will deliver for you. They don't mind any diapers even the 600 Bob mwitu PAMPEENO,'' Chege posted.
