A fundraising campaign has been set up for the family of the brave Nigerian police officer who died while fighting a gang of armed robbers.
NAIJ.com recently reported that the police officer was killed on Wednesday, February 22, while fighting a gang of armed robbers after they invaded a bank in Owerri, Imo state.
The police officer identified as, Chukwudi Iboko, died a day after the terrifying incident from gunshot wounds.

Iboko’s brave efforts during the incident were documented on a CCTV video that went viral on social media four months after the robbery.

Meanwhile, a fundraising campaign was created for Iboko’s widow and six children who have been left helpless since his death.
According to Facebook user, Oluwakayode Olumide Ogundamisi, $14,159 (6 million Naira) has been raised as at the time of the post.
