Former Nigerian international superstar Emmanuel Amunike has said that the Super Eagles will face a serious battle for them to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup that is scheduled to hold in Russia.
Nigeria will face stiff competition from African champions Cameroon for them to qualify for the 2018 soccer fiesta.

After crashing out of the 2018 FIFA Confederations Cup championship, Cameroon have vowed to return to Russia for the 2018 World Cup, and Amunike has now warned the Super Eagles handlers and players to take their duel with Cameroon serious.

“No two matches are the same. You cannot say you will defeat an opponent before a match. It is only after an encounter that a winner can emerge, not before.
“To win a match, the team has to be well prepared. And that is my advise to both the Super Eagles handlers and the players. They must prepare hard for that game because it is going to be a tough game,'' he said.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are currently leading Group B of the Africa zone for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with six points, while Cameroon are second with two points.
