A report by TransparencIT Nigeria has listed some of the corruption-related court cases coming up today, Wednesday, July 26.
On the list are a former governor, Murtala Nyako, former minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Ms Jumoke Akinjide and a former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh.
Also on the list is a legal practitioner, Joseph Nwokike.
The cases of Nyako and Badeh are to be handled by controversial judge, Justice Okon Abang in the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja.

Nyako and eight others are facing a money laundering charge totaling N29 billion, while Badeh and one other person are facing the same charge totaling N3.9 billion.
The cases of Akinjide and Nwokike are to be handled by Justice C. Obiazor and Justice R. Adebiyi in Lagos.
Akinjide and two other persons are facing a money laundering charge totaling N650million, while Nwokike is facing a bribery charge.
All the cases listed are being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). See the full list below:
Meanwhile, the EFCC acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu, has lamented that despite the efforts of the commission, the patrons of corruption are plotting how to continue the looting.
His words: “A band of corrupt elites threatened by momentum of the anti-graft war wants to derail the process.
“They are deadly, and without remorse, they plot and scheme to defeat the anti-corruption and take the country back to the dark days when corruption and impunity reigns supreme."
