- Abe and his supporters boycotted the recent APC congress in Rivers state
Senator under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Mganus Abe, has alleged that he and his supporters are being forced out of the party.
The senator, who recently boycotted the APC congress in Abuja with his followers, said efforts are in place to shut him out of the party but he is going nowhere.
Recall that NAIJ.com earlier reported that a convention supposedly being planned in Rivers state by the All Progressives Congress became chaotic following what witnesses say is a rift between Rotimi Amaechi and Magnus Abe.
Amaechi, a former governor of the state and current minister of transport, is reported to be having a political battle with Magnus Abe, a former senator and ally.

Vanguard reports that Abe's supporters, who boycotted the congress, alleged that the party manipulated the outcome of the congress in favour of a faction of the party.
They alleged the planning committee members manipulated the result of the congress in favour of a faction of the party, loyal to Abuja without conducting an election.
Abe, who spoke to journalists in Port-Harcourt, said that the events that unfolded were enough to indicate that some individuals want to chase him out of the party.
Abe said that the National Convention Committee that was in the state to conduct the congress election had reached agreement with his supporters in the presence of the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Ahmed Zaki on the outcome of the congress.
