Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will on Monday, August 31, 2017 appear in a Spanish court after being accused of tax fraud by the Spanish authorities.
The Portuguese international was accused by the Spanish authorities of not paying tax on image right since the year 2010.
Although the former Manchester United winger has denied the allegation claiming that he is not guilty of the offense.

The issue also raised serious alarm in June 2017 as it was widely reported that the current world best player wanted to leave Spanish club Real Madrid.

If found guilty, Ronaldo is facing a fine of at least £25m and a prison sentence of three-and-a-half years, experts at the Spanish Inland Revenue say.
