Members of the caucus of Enugu state chapter of the APC met on Friday, July 16 to discuss the ongoing crisis in the state chapter of the party.
NAIJ.com gathered that the crisis in the party had led to the factionalization of the party into two camps.
The suspended state chairman of the party, Ben Nwoye, reportedly convened a meeting without the faction of the party led by deputy chairman, Comrade AC Ude, leading to more disagreements among party chieftains.

Nwoye who also doubles as the APC South-East zonal vice chairman has been accused severally of being instrumental to the crisis rocking the party.
The reason can be traced to the earlier purported suspension announced by Nwoye against former gubernatorial candidate in the state, Mr. Valentine Nnadozie.
Mr A.C. Ude led faction had alleged that Nwoye fraudulently diverted party funds and in violation of the party constitution. Nwoye has however denied the claims.
NAIJ.com checks shows that prominent members of the party have been insisting that all aggrieved members should be given a right to fair hearing.
Rather than listen to them, Nwoye reportedly rebuffed their suggestions but rather decided to preside as a judge in his own case.
Other party members observed that the party constitution provides for the procedures on how grievances among party members or the state working committee should be addressed.
Stakeholders and members of the party in Enugu have cautioned party leaders in the state not to allow their personal interests to override party interests.
They unanimously called Nwoye to step aside immediately and allow an independent investigation into the allegations levelled against him
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Nwoye was indefinitely suspended by the party two weeks ago.
The suspension of Nwoye was announced on Monday, July 3, by the state working committee meeting of the APC at the party's secretariat in the state.
Nwoye was accused of abuse of office by Comrade Ude in the company of other exco members at the meeting.
