Real Madrid announced the signing of Real Betis star Dani Ceballos for a reported €18 million fee.
The Champions League winners signed the Player of the Tournament at the European Under-21 Championship with Spain this year ahead of Barcelona.
The 20-year-old scored twice in 30 league appearances for Betis last season which drew the attention of Madrid and Barca.

The midfielder, very similar in style of play to Andres Iniesta joins Zinedine Zidane's side after agreeing a six-year contract.
"Real Madrid and Real Betis have reached an agreement over the transfer of Dani Ceballos, who is tied to the club for the next six seasons," a statement from Real read.
Ceballos is Madrid's second signing of the close-season, having already secured Theo Hernandez from Atletico Madrid for €24m.

He joins just days after James Rodriguez left for Bayern Munich.
Cabellos will battle Luca Modric, Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Marco Asencio, Isco and Mateo Kovacic for a place in Zidane's three man midfield.
