The Nigerian presidency has denied reports that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo would swear-in to office two ministers-designate.
The fresh government position was given by Shehu Garba, one of the spokespersons of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is in London on medical vacation.

Garba simply described the report as ‘fake news’ without giving further details.
He also did not state whether there was an initial plan by the acting president to inaugurate the ministers-designate.
Earlier reports had hinted that Stephen Ocheni from Kogi and Suleiman Hassan from Gombe would be sworn-in to office after waiting since May 3 when the Senate cleared them.
The reports had quoted Laolu Akande, Osinbajo’s spokesperson, as confirming that the two ministers would be inaugurated before the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo would likely swear-in the two ministers-designate, Wednesday, July 26.
The ministers are Stephen Ocheni from Kogi state and Suleiman Hassan from Gombe state.

Quoting Punch, the report said a presidency source hinted that: “It is very likely that the inauguration will hold tomorrow (Wednesday) but there are still some confirmations to be made on the matter."
