Manchester United have confirmed their readiness for the 2017/2018 Premier League season after beating Real Salt Lake 2-1 on Tuesday morning, July 18, in a pre-season friendly encounter.
United who will be playing in the Champions League next season started the game impressive, but their opponents went ahead in the 24th minute after a defensive gaffe.

But the Red Devils responded five minutes later when Frenchman Paul Pogba provided an excellent pass and Henrik Mkhitaryan wasted no time scoring the equalizer for United in the 29th minute.
Belgian international Romelu Lukaku then proved he is capable of leading Manchester United attack next season after scoring the second and wining goal for Jose Mourinho's men in the 38th minute.
Manchester United however finished the match with 10 men as defender Antonio Valencia was sent off in the 68th minute in bizarre circumstances.
