Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has finally confirmed that Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho is on his way out of the Premier League club.
This comes after the Super Eagles star was left out of the Manchester City squad that left for the United States for pre-season.
Guardiola has now explained the rationale Kelechi Iheanacho needs to leave the Etihad Stadium to another club this summer.

“Kelechi is a young player and It’s not just easy for him not to be playing regularly.
“He needs to play at that age and that’s why he and the club decided it was best for him to leave and go elsewhere,'' the former Barcelona coach explained.
Iheanacho has banged in 12 goals in 46 Premier League games for City and despite limited starts, he still hit eight in 30 appearances last season.

Meanwhile, there are reports that former Premier League champions Leicester City are on the verge of signing the Super Eagles star.
