Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado scored a hat-trick as Spain legends defeated the Super Eagles legends 8 - 1 at the ongoing Star Sixes tournament.
The Spanish side scored four goals in each half with Yakubu Aiyegbeni scoring the consolation for the Super Eagles.
Spain scored twice with the first seven minutes as Lucho Garcia and Michel Salgado opened the scoring.

Alfonso Perez Munoz and Salgado made it four in the first half with Yakubu scoring the consolation on the stroke of half-time.
Peter Rufai was taken off and competition understudy Maik Taylor formerly of Barnet, Southampton and Fulham was his replacement.
Salgado got his hat-trick when he slotted in from close-range just after half-time.

Carlos Marchena and Giezka Mendieta both formely of Valencia scored the sixth and seventh respectively to add to the humiliating scoreline.
The final goal was scored by Villareal legend Joan Capdevilla who scored just at the blow of the final whistle.
That was how the game ended as the Super Eagles legends end the tournament with one win and three defeats as they were eliminated at the quarter-final stage.
