Former Spain and Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes says Cristiano Ronaldo is happy and does not want to leave Los Blancos.
The Portuguese has been linked with a return to Old Trafford this summer after claiming he was unhappy in Spain in light of his investigation for alleged tax evasion.
But Morientes believes the Portuguese will remain in Spain because he has not come out to publicly claim he wants to leave the club.

Morientes said: “I haven’t heard Cristiano saying he wants to leave.
“I already know how this works… At the end of every season there are a lot of rumours and doubts on the big players. Ronaldo is one of them.
“I am calm because he hasn’t spoken… At the time when he speaks, we will see.
“But I am pretty sure that Cristiano is so happy at Real Madrid, and Real Madrid is happy with Cristiano. So it will be complicated [if he leaves].”
