New reports have emerged that death toll from last Thursday’s tanker explosion in Lagos has risen to 12. This was disclosed by the state commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris on Tuesday, July 2, at a press briefing.
Channels TV reports that Idris 10 bodies were recovered from the scene of the incident (as opposed to the nine initially reported) the tenth being an infant.
He said the seven survivors later died in the hospital while others are responding to treatment.
