Congratulations are in order for popular Nigerian musician Dr Sid and his magazine publisher wife Simi Esiri. The couple recently revealed that they are expecting a second child.

In a video shared on their respective Instagram pages, the couple’s first child Sidney is seen touching her mother’s protruding tummy while also revealing that a baby was inside.

“Sidney is going to be a big sister come fall by God’s grace! Feeling very blessed ( & a little sick)Thank you Lord, thank you for your prayers & well wishes! The Esiri household can’t wait for our bundle of joy! : @IamDrSid, ” Simi wrote.

This is coming several months after the couple were dogged by divorce rumours. According to a source who told LIB, “They've been having issues for a very long time. It got so bad that Simi has had to move out of the house a couple of times.”

Both Simi and Dr Sid were said to have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Simi also wasn’t wearing her wedding ring anymore and she deleted all their wedding photos.

It appears all is now well in their marriage.
