- West Ham defeated Manchester United 3-1 on Saturday in an EPL game
- Felipe Anderson and Marko Arnatovic scored for the hosts
- Victor Lindelof also scored an own goal in the 43rd minute of the tie
Manchester United on Saturday, September 29, continued with their disappointing performance this season in the Premier League losing 1-3 against West Ham United.
After missing their Carabao Cup defeat against Derby, Frenchman Paul Pogba returned to the first team, but the ex Juventus star could not help his club from defeat.
West Ham United started the match on a good note, and it took them only five minutes to score their first goal through Felipe Anderson who was assisted by Pablo Zabaleta.
An own goal in the 43rd minute by Victor Lindelof gave West Ham United their second goal as the defender failed to clear Yarmolenko's shot thereby directing the ball into his own net.
Englishman Marcus Rashford pulled one back for Manchester United in the 71st minute after receiving a brilliant pass from Luke Shaw.
United fans were happy and hoping their team would restore parity after scoring a goal, but Marko Arnautovic broke their hearts in the 74th minute when he scored the third goal for West Ham.

Since his time as Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho has been an admirer of Brazil international Willian, and he feels he should sign him for the Red Devils this summer.
