Nigerian man explains the funny reaction of people after spotting him backing his child to the bank (photos)

In Africa, there are specific gender roles for the male and female child. A young boy is usually trained by his father to take care of the family by providing while the girls are raised as caregivers and also assigned the duty of taking care of the little ones.

However, social media has helped to publicise things that are not considered as the normal way of doing things.

These days, a woman can confidently raise a home properly by performing both the male and female roles in the family, and vice versa.

A man, identified as Exceptional Emmanuel Okorie, took to his Facebook page to share the funny experience he had after he carried his daughter on his back to the bank.

According to him, people were surprised by the act and they stared at him strangely. He further explained that even a mad man laughed hysterically after seeing him back his daughter.

He wrote:

“My wife was making her hair so I have to back my Lovely daughter to the bank. People were looking at me strangely to the extent that a mad man saw me and started laughing hysterically.

If I can answer her dad, why can't I back her?”

However, his friends on the social networking site were impressed by the act. See some comments below:

A Twitter user, identified Abbas (@_MrSIMPLE_), shared the wonderful experience he had after he helped a pregnant woman and her mother get to the hospital.

According to Abbas, he saw a pregnant woman who was already in labour and her mother by the roadside around 11 pm, and he decided to help them get to the hospital because they were stranded.

However, things took an interesting turn when the pregnant woman gave birth in his car.
