Manchester City have completed the signing of Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva for a fee of £43million.
The 22-year-old arrived in Manchester in the early hours of Friday, May 26, and has completed his move to the Ethihad side.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that Manchester United were in talks with the Portuguese over a possible move to Old Trafford for £42.5million.

But it seems like the Ethihad side have hijacked the move from their arch-rivals United.
According to reports, the 22-year-old is in England over advanced talks and a medical with City.
The Portuguese midfielder has grown to be one of Europe’s finest playmakers and has been a key player for Monaco this season scoring eight goals and assisting nine in all competitions.

The former Benfica man has been a target for top clubs in Europe with Real Madrid and Chelsea also in the chase for the midfielder's signature.
NAIJ.com reported that Pep Guardiola is planning a summer clear-out as some of his stars are set to leave including Nigerian youngster Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Spanish coach is set to bolster his squad after struggling in first season in England.
