Premier League club Watford have announced the appointment of Marco Silva as head coach on a two-year deal.
The former Sporting CP coach had been linked with a return to his native Portugal with Porto and also Crystal Palace in England.

The 39-year-old has now signed with the Hornets days after stepping down as Hull City boss following the club's relegation.
The club had announced on May 17 that former coach Walter Mazzarri's deal as head coach would be terminated despite having secured Premier League survival in his first season in charge.

The Hornets finished 2016-17 in 17th place in the table, six points above Hull in 18th.
