Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has beaten Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann to the French player of the year award.
Kante was named French Footballer of the Year
In a ceremony hosted by the National Union of Professional Football Players (UNFP) on Monday night, Kante was honoured for leading Chelsea to the Premier League title.

Edison Cavani of PSG was named the French Ligue 1 Player of the Year award after scoring 35 Ligue 1 goals nine more goals than his nearest challenger, Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette.
AS Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe was named Ligue 1's best young player of the season after scoring 14 goals and registering eight assists in 27 league appearances.

Leonardo Jardim, the coach of Monaco was named the Ligue 1 Coach of the Year award as he leads his side on the verge of winning the Ligue for the first time since 2000.
Danijel Subasic of Monaco was named the best goalkeeper in the league.
