- Antonio Conte has been nominated for the Premier League manager of the season award
- Mauricio Pochettino of Tottenham and Tony Pulis was also nominated for the award
- Last season's winner was Leicester City's Claudio Ranieri who has since left the Foxes
Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino head the shortlist of the Premier League Manager of the Season nominees revealed on Monday, May 15.
NAIJ.com had reported that Chelsea defeated West Brom 1 - 0 on Friday night, May 12, to win the league title.
Antonio Conte is favorite for the Manager of the year award
Conte became the fourth coach to win the Premier League in charge of a new club while Pochettino who is in charge of Tottenham has led his side to second place on the long.

Last season's manager of the year is Claudio Ranieri who led Leicester City to the league title in a season his side were tipped to battle relegation.
Paul Clement has also been nominated alongside Conte and Pochettino despite having taken over at Swansea at the turn of the year.

He was recognized for in guiding the Welsh team to safety.

Sean Dyche of Burnley, Bournemouth's Eddie Howe have also been nominated for helping their team escape relegation.

Tony Pulis at West Brom was also given a nod for his impressive season with the Baggies.
Meanwhile, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull City have been relegated.
