Some Nigerian police officers in Edo state have been filmed as they brutalized an unidentified man on Sunday, May 14, 2017.
The officers cuffed the poor man to the door of their van and dragged him along the road as they drove in Sopkonba junction, Benin City.
NAIJ.com came across the story after a Facebook user, Irabor Franklyn, shared the story on his page.

According to Franklyn, the officers brutalized him and his friends after they tried to beg the officers to leave the man alone.
The man was cuffed to a police van and dragged around Benin city
He wrote: “I AND SO MANY OTHERS WHERE BRUTALISED BY MEN OF NIGERIA POLICE FORCE ESIGE DIVISION. JUST BECAUSE WE PLEADED WITH THEM NOT TO DRAG A YOUNG MAN CHAINED TO THE BACK OF THEIR HILUX VAN ALONG THE ROAD. THIS HAPPENED ON MORNING SUNDAY MAY 15TH 2017 BETWEEN 1ST EAST CIRCULAR ROAD AND SOPKONBA ROAD JUNCTION, BENIN CITY. # PLEASE I NEED JUSTICE #.”
