Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi has been named the Leicester City Young Player of the Season despite just arriving the club during the January Transfer window.

The Nigerian was given the award during Leicester City’s 2016/17 Season Awards on Monday evening.

Ndidi joined Leicester City in the January transfer window in a £15m deal from Belgian side where he has performed admirably.
The Super Eagles star was signed as a possible replacement for N'Golo Kante who joined Chelsea last summer.
The biggest winner was goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel who was player of the year by fans and the player's player of the year.
Danny Drinkwater just edged Ndidi to the goal of the season for his long range effort against Liverpool.
