Super Eagles star Victor Moses was part of the latest Chelsea team to win the Premier League and he joins a legendary list of players to have won the title.
The Blues finally lifted the title on Sunday after securing a 5 - 1 win over relegated Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.

1. Kanu Nwankwo (Arsenal, 2002 & 2004)
The first Nigerian player to win the Premier League was super Eagles legend Kanu who first lifted the title in 2002, less than three years after joining the Gunners in February 1999.
That season, Papilo played in 23 league games and scored three goals.

He played in just 10 games scoring one league goal that season.

2. John Mikel Obi (Chelsea, 2010 & 2015)
The second Nigerian to win the title was Mikel Obi who like Kanu lifted two titles.
Mikel had to wait four years for his first league title with the Blues which came under Carlo Ancelotti.

The Tianjin TEDA man played 25 games for Chelsea that season and didn't score any goals like the next time he won the title again.
In 2015, he won his second Premier League title, this time under Jose Mourinho, playing 18 times.
3. Victor Moses (Chelsea, 2017)
Moses became the third player to lift the title when Chelsea emerged champions in 2017. His first win comes five years after he initially joined.
The wing-back played 33 times and made 22 consecutive Premier League starts scoring three goals.

4. Ola Aina
The ever jovial Aina is the fourth Nigerian to win the Premier League title. Though he did not receive a medal when Chelsea lifted the title on Sunday, May 21(he played in less than five games), he was a huge asset to the team.
The records have it that he is also a winner of the prestigious title.
