Two farmers have reportedly been killed during a clash with Fulani herdsmen in Giromasa village, Bagudo local government area of Kebbi state.
According to The Sun, the bloody deadly clash occurred on Wednesday, December 22, over dispute about a river that separated the farmers from the herdsmen in the village.

It was reported that a court had ruled in favour of the herdsmen sparking tension between the two groups.
According to report, the farmers still insisted that they owned the land on the side of the river that separated them.
A source that spoke on the condition of anonymity claimed that the herdsmen prevented the farmers from having access to the area and the two group mobilised and attacked each other.
Suleiman Mustapha who is the spokesperson of the state police confirmed the incident.
He however said only one farmer was killed while another was declared missing.
The police spokesperson said there was still a search for the farmer in the river.
He said: “What I can confirm to you is that there was a clash between Fulanis and farmers over ownership of river land that separated them. One farmer’s body has been recovered and we are still looking for a missing farmer.”
He also said the police have been able to restore peace in the area.
A report claims that a clash between suspected herdsmen and residents of Bilachi, a community in Fufore local government area of Adamawa state, left one person dead.
Channels Television reported that the incident occurred late evening on Thursday, December 21, adding that some houses in the village were set ablaze.
