- President Buhari's personal assistant on new media Bashir Ahmad says he will beat Atiku and Kwankwaso in 2019
- Ahmad disagrees that Kwankwaso poses a threat to President Buhari at the polls in 2019 if he decides to run again
- A confident Ahmad says his tweet can be saved as a future reference
President Muhammdu Buhari has been tipped to defeat All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart and former Kano state governor Rabiu Kwankwaso at the polls in 2019 should he (Buhari) decide to run again.
Buhari was tipped for victory by his personal assistant on new media Bashir Ahmad in a reply to a tweet by a follower on Sunday, December 31.
The user with the handle @Nedunaija has tweeted that President Buhari should be more wary of Kwanwaso than ex-vice president Abubakar Atiku.

Presidential aide Bashir Ahmad (right) is confident that defeating Buhari in the north in 2019 is impossible.
The tweet read: "How do I tell some of you that Atiku CANNOT defeat Buhari in 2019? The best option for PDP to remove APC at the center is Kwankwaso, not Atiku. Reason for this? #Thread"
While Bashir agreed that Atiku was not strong enough to defeat President Buhari at the polls, he however disagreed that Kwankwaso posed a threat.
A very confident Ahmad went on to list five northern states where the president would defeat their political juggernauts hands down should he decide to run in the presidential elections in 2019.
The states are:
1. Adamawa
2. Gombe
3. Jigawa
4. Kano
