Brazilian football legend Ronaldo has sent strong warning to his fellow countryman Philippe Coutinho ahead of his proposed move to Spanish club Barcelona in the January 2018 transfer window.
Coutinho has been a long term target for Barcelona, and there are strong reports that he could complete a world record move to the Catalans next month.
Ronaldo who played for Real Madrid and Barcelona during his active playing days has now stated that he was treated badly when he was playing for the Catalan giants.

The world cup winner also stated that Barcelona have had issues with all the Brazilian stars that have played for the club.
"I felt much more happy and more connected to Real Madrid despite having lived a great year in Barcelona, but at the end, my history with Barça was very bad, similar to the one Neymar had.
"Barcelona have always had issues with Brazilian players. Neymar, Romario, Ronaldinho and me. We were all treated badly by the club at the end despite all our contributions and dedication." Ronaldo De Lima told Esporte Interativo.

Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has been the number 1 target for Spanish club Barcelona, and the player almost completed a mega million move to the Catalans last summer.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Philippe Coutinho reportedly agreed a personal deal with Spanish giants Barcelona ahead of a January switch away from Premier League side Liverpool.
Coutinho was desperate for a move to Camp Nou in the summer but Liverpool were able to hold on to the Brazilian as they played hard-balls with the Catalan club.
The former Inter Milan midfielder though remains keen on a move to the La Liga giants and the midfielder’s agent held a meeting with Barcelona last week where they settled on a £10.6m-a-year deal.
